Summer hits San Francisco later than the rest of the country, and yesterday was the first work day that temperatures reached above 90 degrees! After months of fog the sunshine is very welcome, and eight of us rode our bikes to work instead of driving or taking the bus. At Tea we support Spare the Air and all do our best to live a green, healthy lifestyle. These ladies prove you don’t need to compromise your fashion sense to bike to work!

Tošo Dabac was a Croatian photographer, whose work largely focused on the streets of Zagreb between 1920 and his death in 1970. A contemporary of other famous European photographers of the time such as Robert Doisneau and Henri Cartier-Bresson, his photographs have been exhibited widely throughout the world.

Dabac’s work portrays the moments of daily life on the streets of Zagreb – people having conversations, commuting to work, walking their dogs, or shoveling snow. Photographing the same locations for decades, his work covers an array of human experiences within one city.

Here’s how it our Back-to-School Express Your Creativity with Tea Polyvore contest works:

1. Join Polyvore if you’re not already a member (or you can sign in with your Facebook account). Then join our Polyvore group.

2. Create a set of back-to-school children’s clothes from teacollection.com. You choose, boys or girls. Or both. We’re giving away a prize for each.

3. Submit your set as an entry in our contest. It’s super easy, you just drag items into the window. Once you’ve created your set(s), you can submit your entry to our contest. The easiest way to do this is right on our contest page.

3. No more than 6 items in a set please. Only items from teacollection.com are eligible for entry. Don’t forget, to enter, you need to join our Polyvore group.

Did you know that Budapest is home to one of the largest animation studios in Europe? PannoniaFilm was started in 1951 and has been making successful animated TV shows and movies for decades.  One of the more famous ones tells the store of Vuk the fox, made in 1981.  Similar in storyline to Bambi, Vuk is raised by his uncle Karak after his family is killed by a human hunter. Growing up to be a cunning and clever fox, Vuk eventually seeks a humorous revenge on the hunter and his pack of hunting dogs. Vuk’s popularity in Hungary eventually spread to the United States, where an English-dubbed version was released under the name The Little Fox in 1987.

Tea Collection has re-introduced their original Eternal Layette, well-known styles and prints from Tea’s first collection in 2002.

The entire Eternal Layette collection of baby clothes is now made with exceptionally soft Pima Cotton.  The Chinese sweater jacket features a distinctive piqué stitch and mother of pearl buttons.
