This special day serves as a reminder of the transformative impact we can all make in the lives of those who need it most. By coming together and supporting initiatives that promote education, health, and protection, we can help create lasting change for future generations.
Our Partnership with Global Fund for Children (GFC)
Tea Collection is proud to partner with Global Fund for Children (GFC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to powering the potential of children and young people around the world. Founded in 1994, GFC has been instrumental in supporting local organizations that focus on education, healthcare, and safeguarding children from violence and exploitation. Through sustainable, community-driven solutions, GFC fosters lasting change, especially in areas affected by conflict, poverty, and disaster. Their mission is clear: to build a world where all children are safe, strong, and valued.
For over two decades, Tea Collection’s CEO and co-founder, Leigh Rawdon, has been passionate about supporting children everywhere. That’s why we proudly donate 10% of our profits annually to GFC, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children globally.

Read on to learn how Pazear Association and Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã are making a difference in the lives of girls and young women.
Pazear Association: Changing Lives Through Soccer
Pazear Association, based in Olinda-PE, Brazil, uses soccer as a tool to help children and adolescents overcome social issues like racism or gender inequality. The organization’s approach is holistic, supporting the emotional and social development of over 1,000 young people from underserved neighborhoods.
Pazear’s program As Jogadeiras (The Women Players) focuses on empowering young girls and teenagers through soccer. The program builds confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork, helping girls and teenagers create a network of sisterhood and mutual support. With more than 140 participants across four communities, As Jogadeiras is breaking down gender biases and promoting gender equality in sports, an area still often dominated by male figures.
“Being part of the Jogadeiras group means feeling welcomed by everyone and being respected. Even with a lot of criticism, I show everyone that I have a lot of potential,” says 12- year-old Debora Pimentel. The work being done by Pazear is not just about soccer; it’s about giving young women the tools to navigate and challenge the gender biases they face in their daily lives. By providing a platform for girls to excel and build confidence, Pazear is making a significant impact in the fight for gender equality in Brazil.
Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã: Empowering Through Art and Hip Hop
Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã, based in Recife-PE, Brazil, uses arts, sports, and hip hop to promote culture and citizenship. The community-based organization offers after-school programs for children and teenagers in the Totó community, providing them with a safe space to express themselves and explore their interests. Since its founding, Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã has supported more than 5,000 young people.
Gender equality and female empowerment are core values of Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã. The organization goes against the grain, showing how women of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds can thrive. For example, the Cores Femininas group is a dedicated space for cis and trans women to create art freely and support one another in a safe, collaborative environment. The group helps strengthen women’s artistic voices, particularly in graffiti and hip hop, where they face social and cultural barriers.
Artist Tati Naara is a testament to the life-changing work of Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã. Despite facing significant prejudice due to her visual impairment, Tati Naara found strength and self-expression through hip hop and graffiti. She shares, “Being part of Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã and Cores Femininas was a game changer that made me the person I am today. It’s where I learned everything I know and continue to learn every day.” Through her involvement with Movimento Social e Cultural Cores do Amanhã, Tati Naara not only overcame societal discrimination but also learned to embrace her disability and identity through art. Her journey highlights how powerful art can be in empowering individuals to defy limitations and create change.
