From original graphics created by our San Francisco-based designers to our partnerships with artists from around the world, Tea and the arts go hand-in-hand. This year, we’ve partnered with two non-profit organizations, Kids Earth Fund and Arts Bridging the Gap to help bring art to kids in under-resourced communities. Tea donated $10,000 towards giving children access to creative experiences and building connections through art.
As part of Tea’s donation to Kids Earth Fund and Arts Bridging the Gap, we sponsored an event in LA for over 30 kids and their families to have an afternoon filled with art and creativity. Two of our Tea team members, Corinne (Senior Graphic Designer) and Emily (Brand & Creative Director), joined the fun making custom t-shirts and fun collages out of Tea graphics and prints.
Check out these photos from our afternoon together.
Playing with stencils
We worked with Sei Shimura from Kids Earth Fund to turn some of our Fall ’22 graphics into stencils. We were blown away by the cool colors, treatments, and designs that the kids came up with. We also included a selection of patches for everyone to personalize their tees.

Kids Earth Fund
Kids Earth Fund was founded in 1988 in Tokyo, Japan with the mission to support children’s mental health through art workshops. Since then, they have expanded multiple chapters around the world, including one in Los Angeles, CA. Kids Earth Fund provides support and hope for children through art with a focus on promoting a strong message of peaceful coexistence and environmental care.
Arts Bridging the Gap
We also teamed up with Arts Bridging the Gap in LA, a social justice organization that empowers youth across LA County to creatively express themselves and bridge the opportunity gap. Their programs encourage empathy and aim to cultivate creative problem-solving skills through community projects like large scale murals and urban farm programs.
