Ernst Ludwig Kirchner was a German expressionist painter & printmaker from Bavaria. Kirchner was one of the founding members of the group ‘Die Brücke’ and we were lucky enough to see several of his pieces in person during our visit to the Brücke-Museum in Berlin.
We were particularly inspired by his painting Marzella (see above), which was created in 1910, and thought it would be perfect as a tunic length sweater dress for fall.
With front pockets and touches of metallic thread, this dress can be worn dressed up or dressed down. Paired with our skinny solid leggings in tidal and old soles struvy boots, we think this would be a great outfit for fall photos!
