We make globally inspired clothing for little citizens, and twice a year we travel to a new destination for inspiration, adventure and lots of photos of super cute kids decked out in our newest styles. This season, our collection comes all the way from Australia. We trekked across this wild, wonderful country with some awesome local children. From Sydney to the Outback, the rainforest to reefs, we explored, learned, made new friends and laughed (a lot) – plus, we got some great photos to share.
We believe in making connections across the street as well as across the world, and we also went to Austin, TX for a second spring/summer photoshoot. We held a casting call at our first ever pop-up shop at TOMS Roasting Co., and met tons of amazing little citizens and their families!
All of the kids we met, in Australia and Austin, were funny, sweet and completely unique. We loved getting to know them, and thought you’d enjoy it too. So we asked everyone a few fun questions about animals, candies (they’re called lollies down under) and the fun things they’ve been up to since the shoot. Where do you like to hike/explore?
My favorite hikes would probably have to be California (Big Sur, Stinson Beach, Muir Beach, San Francisco, Point Venture, Slide Ranch, Yosemite, etc); Greenbelts in Austin & other trails (Lake Lady Bird, Bull Creek, Riverplace Nature, Mansfield Dam, Laguna Gloria – wait, there are too many to list). We also love hiking at state parks and trails all over Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Florida and Louisiana as well. My mom talks about hiking all over Australia with my big brother, but I was only in her belly at that time.

Alexander doesn’t “hike” but he loves to explore everything in the world around him. He is already trying to figure out how everything works. (We currently live in a condo so he doesn’t have a yard. He sometimes explores in the park.)

No plans for Spring Break since you don’t really get one when you’re three and in daycare! We are moving to Sacramento so we will be exploring things like the Train Museum, zoo and fairyland. We also like to ride bikes (Alexander has a kid seat on the back of mom’s bike).
