Over the past few months, you’ve met some of our newest friends from Australia and Austin. We love introducing them to you and today, we’re sharing profiles of the kids from our summer Australia photo shoot. All of the kids we met, in Australia and Austin, were funny, sweet and completely unique. We loved getting to know them, and thought you’d enjoy it too. So we asked everyone a few fun questions about sharks, seafood and what they want to be when they grow up. Here are their answers … with a little help from mom and dad. Without further ado, meet our Aussie mates!

I think sharks are cool but scary at the same time!

Salmon is my favorite.
What are you going to do for winter break?
Not much – just staying home.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A builder.
SIENNA

Scary sharks! Baby sharks are my favorite.
What’s your favorite seafood dish?
I love prawns.
What are you going to do for winter break?
We are not planning anything for winter holidays.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A teacher.
OBINNA
Do you think sharks are cool or scary? Do you have a favorite kind of shark?
Cool! I like the blue one with big sharp teeth.
What’s your favorite seafood dish?
I just like tuna sushi.
What are you going to do for winter break?
Throw snow at people.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Dig for dinosaur bones and fossils.
KYRA
Do you think sharks are cool or scary? Do you have a favorite kind of shark?
Sharks are scary and ferocious! Ummm… my favorite type of shark is the whale shark because the whale shark is spotty and really big.
What’s your favorite seafood dish?
I love salmon, especially sushi and smoked salmon.
What are you going to do for winter break?
I really want to make a snowman so I’d love to visit the Snowy Mountains.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Oow there’s lots of things! Umm… well I want to be a makeup artist, photographer and teacher. I’d like to also write a book and be a swimming teacher, too.

Go camping with my family.

Sharks are scary. I like the great white.
What’s your favorite seafood dish?
I don’t like seafood.
What are you going to do for winter break?
My birthday is in the winter holidays. I always have a big party and invite all my friends. Last year I had a popstar party!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to have two jobs. First, I want to be a supermodel. I have been a model since I was a baby and I want to continue doing this. I like to model because I can dress up in pretty clothes and wear makeup – it is very fun. I also want to be a TV presenter and reporter on the news. I would like to tell people about what has happened everywhere on that day. I will watch myself to find ways to be better at my job. To have this job, I have to be good at reading and I am very good at reading. When I am on the news, I have to dress up very pretty and put on makeup. I will be rich and famous. I will live in a big house in Coogee because it has a good beach that I will be able to walk to. I will be very happy with all my friends and we will all live in the same house when we are teenagers.

I think sharks are cool! I like great white sharks.

I love seafood, especially fresh prawns and tuna sushi.
What are you going to do for winter break?
For winter break, we will go visit our friends’ farm.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a zookeeper!
SCARLETT
Do you think sharks are cool or scary? Do you have a favorite kind of shark?
Sharks are cool but can be a little scary! Great White sharks are my favorite and are found all along the coasts of Australia.
What’s your favorite seafood dish?
Salmon and tuna sashimi is my very favorite!!
What are you going to do for winter break?
Our family is going to the snow in New South Wales.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a math teacher when I grow up… I’m very good at counting!

Cool! I like Daddy Shark.

Fish and chips.

Snowboarding in Queenstown.
