Here at Tea, we go there. We travel to discover. To dream. To connect. We want to open up the world for all little citizens – whether its exploring a new place or having a new experience in your neighborhood. This Spring, when it came to casting for our catalogs, we didn’t reach out to our usual agencies, instead… We reached out to our Bay area neighbors. We wanted to connect and meet our local little citizens. We wanted to give them the opportunity to have a new experience right here in their own city! We met some pretty adorable and imaginative kids, and today we’d like to introduce them to you! Meet a few of faces you’ll see in our catalogs this season.
And those numbers on their white boards? Those are their sizes…
Meet Koah, a 6-year-old from Loleta, California. Koah’s favorite color is red and he loves lions. His favorite part of the Tea Collection photo shoot was getting to travel to San Diego! If he could go anywhere in the world, he would jet up to Canada. Looks like he already has the traveling bug!
Meet Brooklyn, a 6-year-old living in Sacramento. Brooklyn’s favorite color is pink and her favorite animal is an elephant. Brooklyn’s favorite part of the Tea photo shoot was “helping the cute little girl that was shy and helping her smile and open up. And then we had so much fun jumping off the rocks and skipping on the sidewalk. Can we do it again? And then at the studio when we got to have fun and shoot all together and the funny guy who made us laugh!!!”. If she could go anywhere in the world, she would want to go to Brooklyn, NY or Africa to “see the animals and give clothes and food to the kids who need them”.
Meet Audrey. Audrey is 5-years-old and lives in San Jose, California. She loves all colors and her favorite animal is a zebra! Her favorite part of the Tea Collection photo shoot was “the makeup”. If she could go anywhere in the world, she would travel to “Antarctica, where the penguins live”. Sounds pretty cool!
Meet Tate, a 6-year-old fresh out of Fresno, California. Tate loves dogs and his favorite part of the Tea Collection photo shoot was when he “got to go to the beach and play on the rocks.” If he could go anywhere in the world, he would go to space. Dream big, Tate!
Meet Anja, a 5-year-old living in Campbell, California. Her favorite color is pink and her favorite animal is a puppy. Anja’s favorite part of the Tea Collection photo shoot was that she “liked playing outside and meeting the people who make my favorite dresses”. If she could go anywhere in the world, she would go to “Antarctica and build a snowman!”. Sounds like she and Audrey would be best friends!
Meet Marley, a 9-year-old from San Jose, California. Her favorite color is aqua and she loves foxes. Her favorite part of the Tea Collection photo shoot was “modeling, I love it! The clothes were awesome and I got to sit in the trunk of a car (a Fiat!) and taste an Italian cookie. I climbed in a tree in the park and the guy taking the pictures stood in the tree to take my picture. He was brave. After the shoot I went and ate pasta with my Mom.” If she could go anywhere in the world, she would head to “Paris, for sure. I love the fashion and would love to try the food.” Us too, Marley.
